CutRadar helps freelancers find YouTube creators and keep track of their outreach. This page says what it stores and why, in plain words.
What we store about you
- Your account: your email address and a password (stored by our sign-in provider, Supabase, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, your Google account’s email.
- What you do in CutRadar: the creators you save, your notes, your message templates, your goals, and the outreach you record (who you contacted, when, and how).
- Your profile: your name, portfolio link, what you offer, and a profile picture if you add one.
Your saved creators, templates and outreach are private to your account. Other users can’t see them.
Creator data
Creator information comes from YouTube’s official API (the YouTube API Services) and from what creators publish themselves on their channel and their own link-in-bio pages. CutRadar never guesses email addresses and shows where each contact was found. By using CutRadar you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of YouTube data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Nothing from YouTube is kept longer than 30 days. Creators you’ve saved or contacted are refreshed from YouTube before then; everything else older than 30 days is deleted. If a creator can’t be refreshed (for example, the channel was deleted), their YouTube data is removed and only their channel name stays in your list.
Payments
Plans and AI credit packs are paid through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and stores your card or PayPal details, billing address and tax information; CutRadar never sees your card number. We keep your plan, its renewal date and your purchase ids to give you access.
Gmail, if you connect it
Connecting Gmail is optional, in two separate steps. Sending asks Google only for permission to send email you approve (gmail.send). Reply checking is a further opt-in that asks for read access to your mailbox (gmail.readonly): Google grants this as permission to read your email, though CutRadar uses it only to look up the sender and date of messages from creators you contacted, to tell who replied. Access stays in your browser for the session; CutRadar doesn’t store your Gmail messages or your Google password, and you can revoke access at any time on Google’s security settings page.
AI research
On AI Plus, researching a creator sends that creator’s public channel information, and the short description of your offer from your profile, to Anthropic’s API to write a summary and an opening line. Nothing else about you is sent, and Anthropic doesn’t use it to train its models.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data or show you ads.
- We don’t send any message without you choosing to.
Deleting your data
You can remove saved creators at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email support@cutradar.com and it will be done within 7 days.
